WELCOME TO THE STANDARD OF MUSIC EDUCATION.
The largest and most visible ensemble at Carl Albert High School. Filled with Oklahoma's most dedicated student musicians, performing for thousands across state competitions, varsity football games, and community parades.
The Titan Marching Band provides fall support for home and away football games, the Homecoming Parade, pep rallies, and the Midwest City Veterans Day Parade. After football season, the band performs inspiring outreach concerts at Barnes Elementary, Schwartz Elementary, and Soldier Creek Elementary.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS & RECOGNITIONS
Three ensembles. One tradition of improvisation, groove, and musicianship. Carl Albert Jazz showcases festival performance, competitive achievement, and individual artistry from Middle School through the state's top ranks.
OSSAA State 2nd Runner-Up in 2024 & 2025. Superior ratings at every festival.
Building improvisation, technique, and ensemble jazz fundamentals.
Introducing swing style, jazz history, and combo performance early.
Jazz Ensemble 1 is the standard-bearer for the program — consistently rated Superior with back-to-back OSSAA State 2nd Runner-Up finishes.
Directed by Burnnie Moore — a two-year member of the San Antonio Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps and summer snare-line staff for the Crossmen DCI corps — Carl Albert Percussion trains snare, tenors, bass, cymbals, and front ensemble across the entire program vertical.
High school battery & front ensemble, competitive marching and indoor drumline.
Middle school foundation program building technique before high school placement.
FALL SEASON
Flag, rifle, and choreography woven into every Titan Marching Band production — bringing visual storytelling to the field.
INDOOR SEASON
Competitive indoor marching arts featuring advanced flag, dance, and weapon choreography.
Band begins in 6th grade at Carl Albert Middle School — no prior music experience required. Students progress through Beginning Band, Concert Band, Jazz, and Percussion before joining the high school program.
